Do you do destination shoots?
Hell yes ... I'm packing my bags right now!
Travel is embedded into my soul and I love to go an adventure, so tell me what your thinking and lets get planning - I get super excited about adventurous elopements and lovers shoots - lets do it!
Where are you based? Can we come to you for a shoot?
Exmouth, Western Australia, with stunning Ningaloo Reef just on the doorstep.
YES please I would love for you to come to Exmouth, it has so many incredible places to visit, from the pristine reef to snorkel or dive, whale sharks, mantas and humpbacks to swim with, national parks with amazing gorges and hikes, salt flats and the outstanding white sand beaches plus secret little spots for amazing photos!
Do you do same-sex weddings?
A million times YESS ... Love is LOVE!!!
LGBTQIA+, no matter how you identify and regardless of how you define your relationship, I'd love to be a part of your wedding day.
Can you help us with some planning?
Absolutely yes! I love working out timelines, location scouting, planning the day, helping into dresses, passing beers/champers to calm nerves - I've got you!
What if the weather isn't great?
Most of the time I encourage you to embrace it, it can create the most beautiful images.
However it also depends on the severity of the weather, our location and what the shoot is all about. Don't worry I always have my eye on the forecast and will openly chat to you about.
If we need to reschedule due to the weather there is no additional cost involved.
What did you do before photography?
Ah yes when I was 12 I said it wasn't my career of choice ... I actually became a nurse, my main specialities were surgical then palliative care before moving to Perth and got into neurological care, 20 years of nursing was amazing, but after getting to a senior clinical position I was loosing touch with patients and sort of fell out of love with it ... my creative heart was calling for a change.
I love my 'job' and wished I had been brave enough to make the switch years ago!
What do we wear for our session?
I've got you on this one - once your booked in I will send you a what to wear guide, and I am always happy to chat more about it!
How do I get my images and how many?
You will get plenty of images in high resolution JPEG format via an online gallery where you can download them onto your own hard drive. I handpick the best images from the session and professionally edit them for you to create a stunning gallery.
I don't give a cut off number of images that you will get, I don't believe in that and certainly won't make you pay for extra images like some photographers do.
My promise to you is that I will take plenty of amazing images to capture the memories from the session and give you more than enough to remember the beautiful time together.
Do I have to order prints through you?
No you can use who you want ... BUT saying that I would strongly recommend ordering through the link in your gallery and get them delivered straight to your door ... way easier than doing it yourself ! Plus my printers are calibrated to my editing screen and then framed straight away so no opportunity to gather dust or sticky little finger prints!
Do you provide RAW unedited files?
No I do not provide raw files as this is not my completed work or something I wish seen as they do not represent my brand and style.
Half of the work, after taking the images, is the creative process of editing them.
I carefully cull though the images, choosing those worthy of representing both my work and the magical moments, but don’t worry I don’t leave out any gems or fun quirky images by mistake! However, if you feel an image is missing then let me know and I can go back through them again and check, we are all human and I may just have missed it ;o)
Can I order some of your underwater or aerial shots?
YES PLEASE - I would love that!
